CARE ASSISTANT'S JOB DESCRIPTION
Your duties as a care assistant will involve assisting the clients at your placements with all tasks of daily living.
- You are expected to deliver the highest standards of care at all times as set out by Contact Care Agency
- You are answerable to the trained staff or care manager on duty during your placement
- You are required to be punctual for your placement
- If you are unable to report for duty you are required to give as much notice to the office as possible
- Contact Care uniforms and ID badges are to be worn unless otherwise stated
- Contact Care uniform dress code must be strictly adhered to
- You are required by law to attend compulsory training sessions
- It is your responsibility to get your time sheets signed by the person in charge before leaving your placement
- Time sheets and mileage must be submitted to the office by 10am on Monday of each week
- Safe working practice in accordance with Health and Safety Executive law is to be adhered to in all placements at all times especially manual handling.
- Client confidentiality and dignity must be adhered to at all times.
- Every employee must be CRB enhanced checked.
